Site Positioning at Google or Yahoo. Google PageRank (PR) and Backlinks. Requires Firefox and special extension

I have done some SEO work on the site.  Hope it will turn up the site position on most SE.

Here a list of done items:

1. RSS XML  feed with site contents is completed.

2. News line feeder is updated.

3.Duplicate pages are removed.

4. New page with site map is added to top menu line.

Good news. Mozilla developers team has tested and added SEOHAND extension release ver. 0.0.3 to the Mozilla repository.

Now a latest extension release is available to download from Mozilla site.

Yesterday I found that Hotmail.com doesn’t accept email which go from our site. Really I was a bit surprised with this issue.

It looks like Microsoft again a bit beyond of RFC standarts. I found that they accepts only emails which signed by DomainKeys signature.

So I need to update my Qmail server for get around this issue. It may cause some troubles in registration and activation process  but I will put all my efforst for make update instant for users.

It looks like I have finished with update site and extension. Really there are some issues to make update instantly for users of old extension ver. 0.0.2 but I did it so.

Please feel free to report about any issues you get while working with the site. Actually I cannot test site under all browser and OS. So you are welcome with any information.

Now I have been moving the site to new layout. Really there are may be some  temporary issues.

I am sorry for any any inconvenience during this time.

It looks I did an error spending very little time for SEO of the site. Really it seems to be a fun. The site that is offering SEO services wasn’t optimized for SEO itself. It is a pain but it’s a true. Few time ago I found that Google reducing amount of my indexed pages. Deep investigation and forum search get me that my site lacks from “Supplemental hell” issue. Really I even didn’t know about this thing before.

Walking over various Internet articles get me a clue for solve problem. Here the list of actions which I undertake for workaround the issue:
1. Preferred domain is selected via Webmaster tool of Google.
2. Mod rewrite engine was modified for prevent access to www-less domain name
3. I have 301 redirected all requests from index.php to /
4. Requests to forum with “sid” now will be altered to normal “sid”less form.
5. Titles and META tag generation for most pages are redone.

Hope the actions will help me to get over the issue

Hope this innovation will make the site a bit more attractive. Mostly I took care over a first page. For me the old version didn’t have attractive layout and was unable to inform user about goal our site. I change it so there are more news line headers and the text of site ads turned to be more clear.
